House Fire in Indianapolis, IN

This house fire in Indianapolis was caused from a cooking accident. The kitchen walls and ceiling were badly burnt and needed to be removed and then replaced. This photo shows the living room that sustained heavy smoke and soot damage. If the walls and ceilings have no structural damage they usually can be cleaned using our advanced cleaning techniques. In our initial walk through we pretest walls, ceilings and contents to evaluate the appropriate cleaning method needed to properly restore them. These walls you see were heavily cleaned from top to bottom to remove all smoke and soot residue. The next step is to apply an oil-based sealant then paint. The wooden shelf was also cleaned, refinished and restored to it's original condition. Finally, we installed a new window and new flooring to make this living room beautiful again.
